Another Hit on the Choir Mouse at Mertens House

We haven’t been outside but we have noticed the temperatures on the weather reports. Happy to be in where it is nice and warm and have lovely handmade afghans to cuddle in. At least the days are a little longer and the sun is shining.

We did some flower arranging over the weekend for our dining room tables. Our Valentines for the troops have been mailed. We hope they enjoy receiving them.

They have been cutting down some trees on the property adjacent to our building. It has been very interesting to watch. A little update on our choir mouse ornament. Ham Gillett noticed it when he was in and let us know that his mother had one like it. He thinks it was made by his cousin Sue Lewis. We are just happy to have her and enjoy over the Christmas holidays. Bob Horan came to play his guitar and sing many of our favorite songs. Jean Thurston’s son, Mark, was here to enjoy the music.

Colleen and Amy LeBaron were in to visit their mother, Doris. Trisha and Don Ware and Krit Maxham came in to see Lilian Ware. Ham Gillett stopped in see his mother, Fran. Arlene Midgley enjoyed time with her mother, Karen Hawkes. Mark Thurston was here to visit with his mother, Jean. Gina, Richard and Justin Lancaster had a nice visit with their father, John. Doris LeBaron and her daughter, Gail, took a little trip up to Stowe, VT.
